The Power of Aces

Our analysis and interpretation of the research related to success and failure, hopefulness and hopelessness confirms, underscores, and amplifies the importance of meaningful relationships with caring adults. We call that the connection. However, we learned that "one size" does not fit all. By adopting the metaphor "what are the best four cards one can be dealt in life that support success?" we are able to define how the FOUR ACES in a deck of cards can describe the different ways adults and youth relate to each other. Kids need aces. Adults control the Aces. Make sure young people feel connected every day. Each envelope pack comes with each of the four aces: hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds.
