Why Call it The Intersection Construct?

The Intersection Construct stands as a beacon of hope and youth development excellence. I've been dedicated to transforming lives and communities for over 53 years.   

Over those five decades I came to understand the power of choices. Good and bad. Whether it be an individual, organization, or community all find themselves at various INTERSECTIONS each and everyday. One path could lead you to achievement and success and the other to difficulty and failure. We need to define those INTERSECTIONS. In my work its been the intersection of hope and hopelessness, authority and legitimacy, Exceptions and No Exceptions, delivery of services versus development of relationships, the balance between bureaucracy and culture, management and leadership etc. 

In 2022 after 52 years leading youth serving organizations, including the founding of Kids at Hope an international initiative and youth development movement that examines the dynamics of success and failure and its relationship to HOPE I formed The Intersection Construct, a private consulting group to share my work by defining INTERSECTIONS and the choices that are offered. 

Each person, organization, and community arrives at "intersections" each and every day. Choosing the right path provides a pathway to success. The wrong choice leads to difficulty. 

The Intersection Construct, offers a diverse range of services and products designed to empower organizations serving youth, the adults who care about them and the communities in which the grow.
